Littles & Laters classes are designed for grown-ups and kids to explore their creative curiosities together and experience dance and joy in motion. Intrinsic to the Littles & Laters curriculum are the three core concepts of holistic view of personhood, playfulness, and intergenerational connections. These are the guiding principles upon which the curriculum was developed. Nested into each class are the core competencies of developmental movement, functional movement, and brain health.
Littles & Laters dance classes are offered as a full 12-week semester with a culminating performance or as a pop-up workshop.
Each 60-min class is devoted to a full body warm-up, movement across the floor, and dance-making exercises.
The culminating performance shows the pieces that the students have created collaboratively over the course of the semester as well as a piece of learned choreography.
Littles & Laters classes are designed for kids and grown-ups to experience the joy of dance together while enhancing motor skills and brain health for all.
These Classes are offered Free of Charge with support from our Funders
